Once the khan maak has been taken to the bride\u2019s home, the parents of the groom and bride is going to meet in order to discuss how much of any dowry shall be paid. This is referred to as sin sod and it\u2019s similar to what would be known as dowry on the western part of the country. After the dowry is decided, the reps of the bridegroom and new bride will have the monks execute a blessing to make certain their marriage will be full of love and happiness. <\/p>\n
During this wedding ceremony the groom\u2019s family will provide a reddish colored cloth towards the bride\u2019s mother to drape above her body system and brain.
